General Practice Liaison Service
GP Liaison can provide assessment (in the GP surgery if required) and management advice whilst the GP retains overall responsibility for the patient. The Service can also broker patients to alternative community resources and facilitate transfer of discharged inpatients to shared care arrangements with GPs.Case Discussion
GP Liaison offers regular one hour lunchtime sessions by a Consultant Psychiatrist and a mental health professional in a GP surgery to discuss patients with mental health concerns. Contact the GP Liaison Nurse on 0404 890 131.
