ServiceThe Department offers an extensive range of routine and specialised biochemistry analyses; any tests not performed in-house, are automatically referred on to another NATA-accredited centre.Out Patient Collection CentreThere is a Specimen Collection Centre near the Biochemistry Department located in B block level 4, which is open for business between 8.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. Bookings for Glucose Tolerance Tests (GTT) can be made with the Phlebotomy Co-ordinator on 9431 2638.Any 'function tests' requiring injections or administration of drugs must be overseen by the requesting doctor or their deputy. | |||
