Fremantle Mental Health Service

provides integrated mental health care and treatment to the cities of Fremantle, Melville and Cockburn. The Port City of Fremantle has since, it's foundation in 1829, acted as a conduit for a wide range of new settlers to the remotest capital city in the world. Many of these 'new Australians' settled in and around the Fremantle area creating a hardy and culturally diverse population noted for innovation and commitment to community.

Clinicians by and large live in or close to the region and are sensitive to regional population needs. There is a strong commitment to the needs of consumers and their families, the emphasis being on active participation of staff and consumers in service planning, focussing on continuous quality improvement.
