General Surgery

All general surgical patients at Fremantle Hospital and Health Service through:

• Inpatient and outpatient services
• Primary presentation
• Consultant, Outpatient Department and general referral
• Transfer from other hospitals.

Wards B8S and B9S each provide 31 beds into which general, vascular, gastrobilary, colorectal, ENT, and ophthalmology patients are admitted. Medical staff consist of 23 consultant surgeons, 9 registrars, 3 resident medical officers and five interns.
