Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology

The Department of Neurology is located in a purpose designed and built facility on Level 2 B Block.

The aim of the Unit is to provide a Neurological and Clinical Neurophysiological service at Fremantle Hospital and Health Service for Fremantle Hospital patients and the community it serves.

The Neurology Unit oversees the hospital Stroke Unit.

The Department provides:

• inpatient neurological care,
• consultation services for inpatients,
• Outpatient Service,
• Electromyography (EMG) for inpatients and outpatients,
• Electroencephalography (EEG resting, sleep and video EEG) and
• Evoked Potential Studies
