The Fremantle Unit of the School of Medicine and Pharmacology is part of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Western Australia. The Fremantle Unit consists of two Professors, an Associate Professor and three Senior Lecturers, together with secretarial, research and technical staff. The Unit is responsible for undergraduate teaching, participates in postgraduate teaching and has active Clinical Service and Research roles. Individual members have clinical duties in General Medicine, infectious diseases (including tropical medicine), diabetes and endocrinology, geriatrics, gastroenterology and hepatology which largely reflect Unit research interests.
