Coronary Care Unit, CCU

The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) provides care for patients with acute coronary syndrome, infarcts, heart failure and arrhythmias. It provides a 24 hour service of adult acute Cardiac Care.

It is augmented by the services of Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiothoracic Surgery, which include:

• A fully digital Cardiac Catheterisation Theatre,
• A fully equipped Cardiology Testing Unit,
• Participation in international research projects and a multidisciplinary cardiac rehabilitation  program for cardiac, medical and surgical patients.
